Even though the Sydney Entertainment Centre will be closing down soon this used to be the best place to see live bands.
They have plenty of seating and the views were great no matter where you were seated as well.
The have a great section of food & drinks inside.
However, they needed more entries and exits for people with disabilities as there was always a long line for the lifts before and after the show.
The Sydney Entertainment Centre hosts a number of great shows. Having been lucky enough to have performed at the EC a number of times as a teenager, it has been a wonderful experience to know both sides of being a part of Entertainment Centre shows. Its behind the scenes areas, including the tunnels in the wings make an unbeatable space for show programming/prop storage and large numbers of performers etc, - and the stage floor is set up to enable everything from rock concerts to ice spectaculars such as the Disney On Ice Presentations. Nice open public foyers mean crowding is kept to a minimum, even when the auditorium in filled to capacity. Bars, refreshments and souvenir stands abound. Parking is not that bad. Used to think it was a hassle, until recently being to the two major entertainment complexes in Melbourne, which give new meaning to the term 'parking nightmare'.
