I am impressed with the work Chris undertook on my new European Beech timber bedhead. I was hoping to obtain a similar finish to my existing bedside tables which are an antique French style and around 70 years old. Chris took time to discuss the look and finish I was seeking. He was thorough and meticulous in his preparation, sanding smooth all parts of the wood that had been left rough by the carpenters. Chris even prepared those parts that would not be exposed because he knew that the overall finish and handle would be better – a hallmark of a true craftsman. Chris kept me informed of progress throughout the project and was easy to talk to. The end result is beautiful, has an elegant sheen and perfectly matches my bedside tables – I am delighted!
