This is surprisingly very tasty. If you are hungry for a sandwich this is a pretty good place to stop at. Although the little place looks dinghy the the internals of the sandwich tastes very fresh and there is a variety of stuffings that goes into it. I don't think the roll is as fresh it there was no crispiness or crunch to the roll but it was still tasty none the less.
Agree with the reviewer below there is usually a massive queue... but if you go outside of the lunch hour your lucky if there is one person ahead of you.
They do proclaim to provide the "best Pork rolls" in Sydney... not sure if that's true as i am not a pork roll connoisseur but happy to give them the title - "tasty pork rolls" in town.
When the craving hits for sandwich rolls, with pork and vegetables, I just have to hit one of the many Viet sandwich places around town. Mascot, Marrickville, Epping, Hurstville all compete admirably, but SPR on George in the city just ain't bad either. Queues can be longer but the staff are efficient at moving thibgs along and keeping the crowds happy. Not bad for under a tenner, not bad at all, Watson.
