Oh my gosh, talk about unprofessional!! I had to call reception as my so called 'property manager' could not be contacted, he did not return emails or phone calls and they were of quite serious nature! After 2 weeks of him not returning calls, I called reception, I asked to speak to the owner and she denied me this right! I really had had enough and was very frustrated when told ‘no’ again as this is all I was getting from my so called property manager. When I expressed my dissatisfaction as a customer, she was patronising and aggressive towards me. I got out of there as soon as I could! It’s a shame as tenants we cannot get out of a contract due to real estate fault. I want to note here, I have been renting for 14 years and have NEVER been treated with such disrespect or aggression in my life! The worst ever agency in the Eastern suburbs: unprofessional, arrogant, unscupolous, unethical and all adjectives in between. They approve rental applications on the sport completely disregarding other applicants who waste their time applying and don't even bother to return calls or to inform you of anything anyway. NEVER rent or do any business with this agency, you will highly regret it.

***WARNING*** I rented through this agency and found out the hard way. This agency is a scam that will keep all your bond and try to make you pay for repairs and cleaning that doesn't need doing. It is their standard business practice to rip off international students who don't know any better. DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS AGENCY. If you have already leased a premises through this agency YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR BOND BACK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. The only thing you can do is stop paying rent and cancel any direct debit arrangements AT LEAST FOUR WEEKS prior to the end of your tenancy. Do not react to their harassment and threats. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL RECOVER YOUR BOND as the last four weeks rent will be deducted from your bond. If you are still owed bond money lodge a complaint with FAIR TRADING

Highly unprofessional! I recently applied for a rental property and the so called secretary forwarded my personal documents (payslips, bank statements etc.) that I had emailed to her as part of the application process to another potential tenant and the previous tenant! Then had the hide to tell me she didn't read the email before she sent it so she didn't realise there were attachments.
Only then to say "oh well hopefully they don't open it"

I was absolutely dumbfounded! I would be horrified if I had done that to someone!

It seems that Sydney Residential has forgotten where they get their revenue from and they need a little reminder that it is from renters and buyers. To adopt a patronising and passive aggressive attitude is not the way to do business anywhere. As if that wasn't bad enough dealing with the office, the complete lack of interest from the property manager and the failure to respond to applications submitted or to even answer simple questions about the property was frustrating to say the least. This agency had no shame in showing a house that was filthy, bug infested and broken down with urine left on the toilet seat, truly the worst real estate agent I have ever had to deal with.
