SSHC provides free and confidential testing, support, treatment and management of Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI), HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis. We are funded to provide care to people with symptoms of STI, to people who have had sex with someone with an STI and to people at increased risk of STI and HIV, which includes; people living with HIV/AIDS, gay/men who have sex with men (MSM), sex workers and their clients, young people 24 years old and under, Aboriginal people and injecting drug users (IDU). These people are at increased risk of acquiring STI. All sexual health clinics in NSW follow the eligibility assessment criteria described in the NSW Health STI and HIV/AIDS Strategies which focus on people at highest risk.
