The Skywalk - What an awesome experience. We could see so far into the distance even though it was slightly overcast.
A storm was coming in at the end of our tour but it was so cool watching it slowly head into the city.
The viewing platform extends over the edge of the main structure of the deck so you're 260 metres above the city which is awesome.
It was very safe due to the fact that you are strapped into a harness with a lanyard for the full tour.
The tour guide was fantastic as well.
I've also been into the restaurant section - It's a little expensive but you get what you paid for plus you have awesome rotating views of Sydney while you eat.
The observation deck is also a great opportunity to take some cool shots of Sydney as well.
Wanted to book a concession ticket on line for the eye tower however was told sorry this service was only variable to NSW pensioners, disabled and students as the other states and overseas elderly tourists are not recognised and there for don't count.
What a marvellous way to to encourage tourism.
Sure, it's not going to win any awards for it's food. But the views from this restaurant more than make up for the mediocre food. I didn't have any issues with the staff, they were always on hand and willing to help.
The only bad thing about it was the music being played, most of which was rap, which didn't really fit the mood of the restaurant.
Great staff. Very helpful. But the attraction itself doesnt excite me that much. It was my first time climbing, and youre up there and all, but I feel paying that much should give me more extra excitement. I think $5 would be just right. But in saying that, other people might find it okay.
