Sydney Woodworkers Door Window Warehouse

We are devastated by the workmanship of Sydney Woodworkers, an organisation which totally ignored our instructions for quality windows that open properly. We sent a photo of windows to be replicated, that are perfectly proportioned and work superbly, but when the Sydney Woodworkers’ windows were installed, we realised they couldn’t be opened adequately because the horns were too high - three quarters of the window height!!! The company refused to rectify their mistake, one that every builder who has seen the job confirms is the result of thoughtlessness and a lack of common sense. The company refused to supply a carpenter for the day to make adjustments, even though they admitted error over the phone. Eventually, they cynically offered rectification if we hired someone to remove the windows, deliver them to the SYDNEY WOODWORKERS’ work site, return them to our home an hour away, then reinstall at our own expense - extremely costly. I ordered my custom door by filling out the form. They contacted me to discuss some finer details. Once that was done, the shop drawings came through and the lead time they promised was spot on. Went and picked the door up and am very happy with it.

Customer service was great as I asked for a lot of changes which they did with no fuss or rudeness at all.

My builder is also very impressed and will also use them for future work. The price was also significantly cheaper than other places too.

I'm about to order 6 more custom doors.

Highly recommended.

Would never purchase from this company again.

Shop drawings were incorrect even when they were given architectural plans and complete window schedule.

my friend and I went to this warehouse yesterday! Both of us looking for new doors, only to find NO customer service. 9 staff were working and not 1 served us. They just kept talking amongst their selves. My friend even waited at the counter - still no service. Went and told the guy at the desk that we won't be spending our $$ in this warehouse due no one willing to help! we them came around the corner only to see that guy telling another staff member and looking at us laughing! I'm really not sure what was so funny.... it must be the way they treat potential customers! I working in the building industry and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. !

I have had excellent phone customer service over the phone with Bruce who was able to very clearly recommend a window unit to me in my limited description and understanding. Upon visiting the store the excellent customer service continued. Plenty of staff and they understand communicating and assisting customers so well. Thank you
