BEWARE the lowest price in town....
We shopped around for some screens and sliding security door and found T&B to be the cheapest quote offered.
Unfortunately, the installer dropped one of his tools on our freshly laid porcelain tiles, taking a large visible chip out of it and when asked what he was going to do about it, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said nothing.
To now have one tile removed and relaid means that the cheapest quote will be far more expensive than the dearest.....
BEWARE the lowest price in town....
I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our service. Brian assures me that when you raised the issue of your floor tile with him that he explained that it was damaged before he commenced his work. It appeared as though somebody had attempted to drill into the tile, not dropped something on it. Please contact us to discuss the issue further if you are unhappy as we would like to resolve this issue to your satisfaction. Thank you.
Follow Up.
Just for anyone reading this, I did contact this company to discuss and the response was that "Brian didn't remember". They can't even get their story straight and there would be absolutely no reason to "try to drill" a tile in that location. That accusation in laughable.
The unfortunate thing for T&B (the company) is that our neighbour was actually there at the time too and watched the tool get dropped. This was pointed out to the installer who literally shrugged it off with a "what do you want me to do about it" attitude.
We had already paid for the install in good faith, so all we can do now is enlighten others of our experience.
