I first found out about this place when a friend of my gave me some tea from this place for my birthday. I liked the tea, but didn't think much about where it came from until I went to a tea party with another friend and took one of the tea sachels that I had been given and told me how much she loved the place. Anyway I decided to go and check it out while I was down in Adelaide and I have to say that I was really, really impressed. If you love tea then this is one place to check out. In fact it is more than just a shop that sells tea, it is also a cafe, and you can get coffee (and pretty decent coffee at that) here as well. I ended up having a bacon wrap, which was pretty good. However the thing that I love about this place is the tea, and if I lived in Adelaide I would probably end up getting my loose leaf tea from this place.
After visiting the T Bar tea house in the city. So decided to visit The T House situated Gouger St end of the Adelaide Central Market. I found the cafe light, bright & inviting, with a good range of seating/table options, set in a relaxing environment. An extensive range of Tea's, with fresh food choices, which makes this place popular. Once again the service was excellent, staff friendly. A good call to relax from your frantic shopping in the market. Pleased I made the effort. When next in the market will make this a call.
