It’s been quite some time since I’ve been here last and it’s one of my absolutely favorite sweet shops in Footscray, in fact it probably the only Italian bakery I’m aware of that makes the best cannoli sweets. They make everything by hand, it’s a family business in which it’s survived all the numerous changes over the decades in footscray with the changes in various shops, restaurants, ethnic groups. The family serving is just lovely, small little shop but sufficient to come in and quickly pick up what’s needed, or there are a few tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The also make cakes to order.
Was recommended to come here by a friend and really enjoyed it. For years I've been walking past and finally got a chance to try the canelloni which is what they are famous for and boy it didn't disappoint! They've been here since the 70's and it shows in the decor which makes the experience all the more authentic. The espresso is a must try as well.
In the heart of Footscray surrounded by many Vietnamese restaurants is this beauty that has been there forever!!!!!!

Freshly made Italian cakes and continental cake (to order). Must specify with or without liquor for the continental cake. I have tried many out there around Melbourne and this is my favorite. The original recipes come from Sicily and have been handed down. Parking can be a bit tricky, there are 3 tables to enjoy a coffee and a cake, but generally you take out. DO yourself a favour and go and try, guarantee you will not be disappointed.
The best cannoli in all of Melbourne. I've tried cannoli's almost everywhere, never as good as this place. The pastry is away crispy, the cream is just perfect. They have been around for quite some time. One of the original still standing Italian sweet pastry shop in footscray.
