Totally agree with R Smith. And things have not changed in over a year! I had major problems with replacing a phone recently and it dragged out for over six weeks until I rang the national service centre myself which customers (theoretically) cannot do. After that call, oddly enough the phone was ready the next day BUT it took me another trip into the store and another 40 minutes to get the IMEI number written down by the staff and the sim card changed, which I said I could easily do but they insisted it was part of the service!

The Telstra Shop in Kippa-Ring is very quick to sign you up and give all the promises that they are the best, but when you have a problem and wait over two weeks for a phone line. It's not good service at all. When you ask for the staff and they try's to sort it out and says I will phone you back by 6 o clock and then you wait and wait and after waiting 24 hours you ring them back and ask why did you not call and he replies " I had no news for you" well then I give up !!!. Think twice when going with Telstra
