Taco Bill Mexican (Croydon)

Been visiting for over 15 years, good food and prices. One star short as the take away is nevrr resfy on time. Overall great place.

Went there last night 03.03.14 and the food was okay. The service was underwhelming as they were short staffed. The eftpos machine was not working so had to pay cash, which we didn't have on us - had to go to bank. But the biggest dissappointment was.........they ran out of lemons for the Caronas (????)

I went there with Ash for Dinner after my Podiatrist Appointment on Tuesday 14th January 2014. I had a small Nachos with Cheese and Sour Cream and Ash had an Appetisers Meal and we both really enjoyed our meals so we will be back again.

You know what you're in for when you go to Taco Bill's & I'll give them one thing, they're pretty consistent. Far from authentic Mexican & far from nouveau chic a la mamacita, Taco Bill's just is. At least that's what I thought till Taco Bill's Croydon. Now let's get this straight, the difference isn't so earth shattering that everyone should come to this one in droves but for my money, the food here did seem a step up from every other one I've been to over many years. The service staff seemed inexperienced, but hey, at least they were friendly & energetic. And who's expecting silver service anyway? We had the mixed fajitas & the beef quesadilla & they were good. Not great, but good, which exceeded my expectations.

Terrible service and bad food Last time I went there the service was awful because they took so long to bring the meals out also I had a small Nachos and they were as hard as anything so I couldn't eat them at all and the Chicken Taco I had was disgusting because the chicken was frozen so I asked the staff to get me another one and that staff was so rude because the staff said that I not giving you another one so then I told the staff to stick it up your jumper and I walked out and said that I was never coming back there again.
