Well, it turns out that there are a few of these places scattered around Melbourne, which certainly isn't a bad thing because I do quite like my Mexican occasionally (though the food doesn't tend to be as spicy as Indian). Since the days are now getting a little longer, I thought it would be high time to start having some dinner after work, especially on Tuesdays before Bible Study. Since I pass through Clifton Hill I thought I might come in here. Turns out it was perfect timing because on Tuesday nights they have half priced meals. Okay, they may not have been the fastest to bring the meal out, but they certainly weren't slow. Mind you, once I had that burrito in front of me that was all that I was on my mind. However, they do bring out some corn chips and dip while your waiting, which is better than what a lot of other restaurants do.
The food here is very good. Generous servings, well-cooked and served nicely, even for take-away. There is a good selection in the menu, including vegetarian.
A little expensive, but the generous food servings explain the cost. The food portions are quite large, enough that I could not eat an entire dish. If you decide on take-away, remember to ask for cutlery.
The baked potatoes are fabulous.
I have always enjoyed dining at Taco Bill. The food is yummy, the serving sizes are well worth the cost and there are plenty of items on the menu to choose from. The service here isn't as good as at some other restaurants, but if you are willing to look past that, you will have a great meal.
