Tailors on Central

I discovered Tailors on Central from my work colleague who took us there for lunch one Monday afternoon. It was quite a spacious space with minimal dcor. The atmosphere of the place was of typical traditional Australian pub with a slightly dimmed ambience from its lack of natural lighting.

I guess what makes this place quite popular is the regular live music during weeknights, as well as their food specials all throughout the week.

The food offering was of regular pub meal, such as steak, fish and chips, salt & pepper calamari as well as some rice and stir fried dishes. During our visit, they range from $12 to $16. The food was nice and you can enjoy it for a longer period of time because of its incredibly generous serving size.

The staffs are very friendly and prompt, and the food did not take long to cook and prepare.

Well priced and tasty pub meals. $15 for surf and turf 280g prime rump steak with salad & chips. Excellent value. Great interior and atmosphere. Takes group bookings and you can pre-order food too which makes having lunch there much easier.

Really nice place and very good quality food for a resonable price. Like the undercover/outside area also. Wish they put the menu up on here!!!

I like the food at this place very much. Lovely pizzas... yum. Nice outside smoking area ...... were you get sit, chill out, enjoy your meal and a drink and have a smoke on your lunch break. Love that they cater for smokers to an acceptable standed ... not just pushing them out on the side walks on the streets like most doggy places in Sydney. Watch out though , if the older owner serves you your allowed to pre order from work, if you get the younger bloke, no pre orders are allowed. My only critisem is to standedise the service so rules are put in place and not changed to suit the waiter serving.

I like this pub, its friendly to all including if you dont come here regularly.

Certainly has good atmosphere and the food is very good, especially the steaks chips and salad.

They also have good entertainment during the week such as trivia and texas poker. Highly recommend if you ar ein the area to drop by.
