Talent for the Coast

Talent for the Coast programs are specifically designed to allow the children of the Gold Coast to have the opportunity to gain the performance and stagecraft skills to prepare for auditions for roles in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

This program is supported by the past Gold Coast Mayor and many Gold Coast Councilors and has the backing of the Major Events department. Additional support has been received from State and Federal Members with a submission before Education Queensland to incorporate the Talent for the Coast program to the Gold Coast State School System.

Following the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the Talent for the Coast program will continue to provide excellence in professional entertainment training for the youth of the Gold Coast. ...read more
