Tables inside and out provide seating for those looking to sit down and enjoy their meals, takeaway is the order for most of Tamagawa's patrons through.
The cuisine is all Japanese, they do the simple things well, Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Teriyaki and the stock Japanese Udon and Ramen Noodles are all fantastic, and with all meals being reasonably priced there is little cause for disappointment.

I was going here for years, but one night with my new mrs, the food was not good. Went back years later, the food given was not what was ordered (my wife ordered exactly as it was written on the menu) they offered take away. Turns out they meant the take away of the meal that was incorrect, as 1/3rd was missing. Yes my wife was starving, so had a bit while she waited for the correct meal (which never came) then they wanted us to pay for the incorrect meal. Very disapointing Tamagawa, prices up 33%, service down 33%
This is a fantastic little Japanese restaurant that is very well priced and always serves up fresh and delicious dishes. The sashimi is the best on the northern beaches and the service is prompt and friendly.
