I had a HORRID experience here.
Avoid this place at all costs!
Said $50 first, then demanded $75. Rude and highly incompetent staff.
I went in for a hair cut and wash on 4/1/19
On the day prior, ‘$50 for a wash and haircut’ - said the staff, also claiming that my curly hair wouldn’t be any trouble.
During my haircut, the hairdresser did not have the slightest clue how to detangle my hair.
Another employee caused me physical injury but CUTTING ME with a scissor while walking by and blamed the entire thing on me saying my hand was in the way.
The staff serving me was the epitome of rudeness.
She made me comb my own hair and very rudely told me to bring it combed before my appointment.
Finally, she increased my price to $75 instead of the promised $50 which was quoted to me at the appointment after checking my hair.
Sadly, mediocrity keeps rearing it’s ugly head on a daily basis and any self respecting customer deserves to have a say. I will never return to Tangled Hornsby. I’m deeply disappointed with the bad haircut I received and the price should have been $5 not $30.
I said it was too short but it was too late by then. Hair is a personal trait and when it’s been butchered by seemingly deft yet inexperienced hands then the business goes to another salon that can do a better job. Not interested in comments that become a political football. A good job is a good job, a bad one is bad. End of story. However I do miss the hairdresser I had last year. She was capable and polite. She may have had good reasons for leaving.
