I wasn’t going to do this review but thought it may help other potential customers and if you love this place that’s great for you but for me it was my first time and the last. The whole experience was not a very nice one. I asked for half a head of light foils and got anything but, I came out darker then I went in. I Asked the hairdresser Why it didn’t go blonde she said it must be something I put in it. Yeh shampoo and conditioner. She didn’t have time to fix it as she had another customer. She told me it will get lighter if I go swimming. (???????) It didn’t and I waisted my birthday voucher.
I’ve read the previous reviews on here and I have to say they’ve obvioualy upped their game recently because I couldn’t be happier like the last two reviewers have been. I see maddy who is knowledgeable and lovely! I was platinum blonde my whole life then made the disastrous decision to dye it all a very dark brown which I regretted instantly! 2 weeks later she coloured it to taking it straight back to a lovely light colour (caramels and honeys-NO ORANGE TONES!) after two more visits I’m back to my beautiful blonde self with no apparent damage! I highly recommend the cureplex and charcoal treatment cream if you’re going on a bleaching spree like I did lol
After trying a few salons this would have to be my favourite. Not only are they well priced but they also have great staff. They have great recommendations for what would suit you best and even better the amazing staff remember you by name. Wont go anywhere else. #reviewtowin
I did not have my hair done at this salon as I was unhappy with the phone service I received. After receiving a bad haircut and colour from another salon, I rang Tangled Hair and politely asked, "I have a hair disaster and am wondering if you could help me?" The hairdresser on the phone replied in a rude and blunt way, "Yeah, what?" I explained the situation, and they abruptly said that it would take three visits (with a full head of foils each time) to fix my hair, however they would not colour my hair for two weeks, as it would be damaging. I understand that salons are busy places and hairdressers often have clients to attend to in person, however if they have been patient and polite with me on the phone, I would likely have booked an appointment for that day. The next salon I called was very eager to help, patient, and explained how they could fix my hair in a way that would only take one visit and would not be damaging to my hair. This has to be the worst experience came in for a wash cut blowdry
last week and i asked for a flicks and the staff started washing and was not a satisfying feeling , shampoo was left underneath my hair and the hair felt dirty still ! water down my back as i left the chair i thought staff was going to start cutting i think another stylist came took over and gave me a great cut and the staff took over again and started to blowdry it as staff did the flicks brushes where getting stuck after staff finishes hair was still wet !!
