Tango Cafe Restaurant

I really wish this place was still open! It was my #1 go to cafe in Coogee! A cafe with a South American theme, this place was always lively and the staff were always friendly. The food was to die for!! The Spanish Risoto with chicken and chirizo, the big breakfast with the best eggs you've ever tasted! Seriously, I think they mixed heaven and eggs because they were unbelievable! I just hope they reopen again soon!!

I am seriously never coming back to this cafe. It was a Sunday sunny morning and I went for brekkie with my girlfriend. As all the cafes in Coogee Bay Road were full we decided to go to Tango Cafe as it was the only one with free tables (no wonder why). We ordered 2 Capuccinos and the waitress seemed nice. However, I noticed something under my chair and I realized there were 3 cockroaches, I called the management and instead of apologising and getting rid of them, he said in a really rude that the cockroaches were dead. We left and are never coming back, they managed to ruin what was going to be a perfect Sunday morning.

Just came back from trying to eat out at Tango's, still waiting for my meal.
I have normally had only good experiences eating at this south american restaurant in Coogee, however in the last 2 months it has gone way downhill. Should've noticed something was amiss after sitting down and ordering and then seeing the couple on the table next to us leaving without eating, they said they had been waiting 45 mins already.My wife ordered a latin Risotto which is normally very nice and I a Chilli. 50 mins later my wife got her Risotto and after an hour and 20 minutes I had to tell them not to bother cooking my Chilli as she had long since finished hers. I noticed a table of 6 across from us had similar problems, one of them receiving their meal 1/2 an hour after the rest of their table.
Wouldn't recommend going back here until they fix their Chef issues.
They managed to totally ruin what was intended to be a pleasant night out.
