Tani Eat & Drink

Expensive and disappointing. This restaurant charges premium prices but the meals are not up to scratch. The rack of lamb we had was fine, but the steaks were cooked by someone without a clue. The rump was ordered medium to well and came out charred on the outside and med-rare on the inside, and the meat was chewy. The eye fillet was ordered med-rare and was cooked entirely on a grill (instead of spending some time in the oven) and came out well done on the outside with a core that was rare; what would have been a nice steak was ruined. Towards the end of our meal the staff ignored the few remaining patrons, leaving us with a table full of empty plates and rapidly fading dessert orders. We interrupted them to pay the bill and get a panna cotta to takeaway which was also of poor quality at any price but at $14 just an insult. Jan 2012.

Lovely restaurant the owner Jamilla a wonderful hostess. the menu is not extensive a very nice change and the food was excellent the steak cooked to perfection a varies wine list all in all a great experience
