I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Sadly, an arsonist lit a fire in the back and it has been closed for a few months but will hopefully be up and running soon once repairs are finished. Tanner's has some of the nicest cakes and chocolates you will ever try - I recommend the cute little frog cakes especially for children! They also make very nice coffee and hot chocolate, and beautiful cakes for parties.
Downsides - the place is tiny and I mean tiny. There are tables, but you will have customers standing over you constantly so dining in is quite cramped and uncomfortable. I recommend sitting outside (there are only 2 outside tables). They are also a little expensive. The quality is good, but the prices go up quite frequently and some products such as eclairs seem to get smaller and smaller as the price goes up. It also gets very busy so you can wait quite a while to be served especially on a weekend.
