"Good time, Good place, Great Thai food..."Tara Thai Restaurant is a medium-sized restaurant located opposite Bunnings Warehouse in Mill Park. We opened in 23/12/2005, since then we have received a very warm welcome from our customers. Tara Thai have broad customer appeal due to our casual family atmosphere, wide variety of food offerings, and at compatible price. As our slogan says "Good time, good place, great Thai food" - Our mission is to make our restaurant a great place to eat, combining warm atmosphere with excellent, interesting food, and the best service. Most important to us is to make our customer happy, and we believe this will be achieved by offering high-quality service and tasty food with interesting twists.
We can adjust our ingredients and recipes of each dishes to meet a unique customer needs. Although, the nature of most Thai food is a tasty spicy dish; however at Tara Thai we soften the degree of spice to suit most of our customers. Anyway, you can tell us what you would like for your meal ? Mild, Medium, Hot, or EXTRA HOT!

One of the best Thai cuisine in Melbourne. With its simple-decorated, but in style, plus not-too-big of it's size make this place nice and cozy every time I step in. A charming magic here is almost all dishes, especially the entrees, are fresh home-made. An entree of Curry Puffs is highly recommended. And a main of whatever stir-fried with peanut sauce is my all time favorite! Followed with a serve of home-made coconut ice-cream ~ always heaven for me!
Let alone take-away (as it's price is a bit cheaper), the meal wouldn't cost you much, comparing to other Thai restaurant I've been.
