Target

I have never had a problem with Target before and have always enjoyed shopping there. But recently I took a pair of boots back that my husband had purchased on special to exchange them as he bought the wrong size. When I presented them for exchange with the receipt as proof of purchase just a couple of days prior I was informed that I would need to pay an extra $8 as they weren't on special anymore. I argued that I only wanted to exchange them for exactly the same boot just 1 size smaller and that they would still have the same amount of boots on the shelf, but to no avail. I found this to be abhorant and felt completely cheated. If I had wanted to exchange them for a different boot that was worth more I could understand, but I just wanted the exact same boot 1 size smaller just a couple of days after the original purchase. It took me so long to take them back as I live 40 mins away from the store and work 5 days per week. A very dissatisfying experience indeed.
