There are always two sides to any story e.g. Leon's review. For over 30 years our family has trusted this mechanic with about seven cars. Do you think that we would have persevered if we were not happy with the service? This mechanic explains in great detail any mechanical problems and advises if there is an unexpected expense. He offers you the use of his vehicle whilst he is working on your vehicle. He is reasonably priced and is completely trustworthy. I have referred friends and they are happy. I rue the day when he retires.

I'm now almost 28 years of age with every service of every car that I've had since the age of 18, serviced through Tarragindi Auto Care (despite often living quite far away at times). I couldn't recommend a better mechanic in Brisbane for the price, the quality of work/parts and the way the customer is treated.

Told the mechanic our problem and he said oh yeah ive had a few of these for subarus so its most likely plugs or coils. I told him we changed the plugs a year ago but since you're pulling things apart to get to the coils just check them anyway. Call us if you find the problem before changing anything......well that didnt happen......rang us saying its fixed and he'd changed the spark plugs $380!! Well the problem was not fixed and another subaru mechanic said he overcharged and charges $250 for the same spark plugs.
Tarrgindi autocare just said oh its an old car and things are going to go wrong and you just have to change things to rule out the problem. So ive spent nearly $400 and no better off, especially when he knew to contact us first plus i could have changed the plugs myself if i knew thats all he was going to do.
Extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. Avoid this mechanic!!
