I've been to Taryn Brae hair a few times now and have really enjoyed it. The colours I have been given have been spot on - especially the first time when I had no clue what to ask for and the young hairdresser helped me choose. Great service, friendly staff and EXCELLENT head massages!
Sorry to hear that puppy007 had such a bad experience at this salon as I have followed Taryn from London to Sydney for my hair. She's always been responsive to what I have asked for and can only recommned that next time you have dye on your face you actually tell the hairdresser not scrub it off your face. I love going to get my hair done here, I only wish it was closer to where I live! : )
Hate to state the obvious here, but if I had noticed before getting back to the car (which was not parked close) I would have mentioned this one. Loved that they had 'styled' my hair forward to cover the dye.
I went here out of convenience, but last time was the worst. Never had a great cut or colour here. Was turned way too blonde just before my wedding, then later had it dyed darker, cut was drab - I left with colour dye on the sides of my face which I didn't see until I got in the car. Had to go home and scrub my face until it was red raw before I could go do the groceries. Never going back. They must have seen the dye on my face and not cared. Not only will I never go back - I joined True Local to post this.
Like any salon you expect service from, this is not cheap - was charged over $200 for the last experience.
