Tasman Meats

Bought lamb loin chops marinated and when I got home I opened them to cook for dinner. They smelled really funny almost fishy. I thought it might be the marinade. It was Greek gyros marinade so I thought maybe they'd done something different. When cooked I took a bite and it was rancid. The meat was clearly off. It still had days left in the use by and had been packed fresh when I bought it. The whole lot was thrown out. I have wondered about the freshness before but the prices are so good. I will never take the chance again. Steer clear.

Cheapest meat in the west by far and great quality, lean meat. Not a huge range of ready bake options but great essential cuts to create this and that. We spent $100 and filled our stand alone freezer for the next few weeks!

The ladies at the counter usually provide good service. The price is usually cheaper than Coles and Woolworths. Good stuff.
