Tasmanian Rare Breeds Poultry Club

The Tasmanian Rare Breeds Poultry Club Inc. is a group dedicated to

- Preserving our endangered breeds and varieties of chicken, duck, geese, turkey, and other forms of poultry.
- Promoting the keeping of poultry
- Fostering community among poultry keepers; and
- Advocating for the backyard poultry keeper

We are an incorporated charity in the state of Tasmania.

Celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2016, we work to keep alive the wonderful poultry of Australia and connect the public with these breeds. We do this through our newsletter, social media, website, annual show and sale day, workshops and sourcing useless products for our members.

We meet every two months at the Glenorchy RSL Secretary's Rooms and host our show annually, alternating between Devonport Showgrounds and the Royal Hobart Showgrounds.
