This is seriously baguette heaven! They are so full of flavour, the special sources are delicious and there is something about the bread that they use. The service is incredibly fast even though there is always a line out the door at lunch. I use to work near it and have to get my weekly fix here. Highly recommend!
They also do really yummy cakes and pasties that you can order for birthdays etc.
A really solid choice for a quick coffee and a sandwich or pastry. The coffee is high quality - although perhaps not as smooth as the brew at Le Monde, further up the hill and the food is fresh. The bread is baked on-site. The sandwiches have a Vietnamese theme, as that's the ethos behind the coffee shop. The lemongrass chicken is delicious. The biggest selling point of Taste is the small, covered courtyard out the back. It's usually fairly empty, making it perfect for off-site meetings over coffee. #reviewtowin
Surry Holls offers a delightful array of food options for lunch and dinner but Taste Baguette became one of my favourites for quick and fresh vietnamese cuisine. Nothing beats a crunchy roll with authentic marinated flavours and fresh salad with a spot of chilli - delish!
