We recently used Taste for a work luncheon. The rice pilaf was just boiled rice, the winter fruit tarts were just a slab of cake cut into squares and our warm, roasted root vegetable salad was a bowl of lettuce and watercress. When I enquired where the root vegetables were, I was informed that the chicken curry that we ordered had vegetables included (carrots and beans) and that would suffice. Our vegetarian guests had to eat a bowl of lettuce. The quantities were insufficient and we had to order extra wraps from the local shop. The chicken curry was also tasteless.
