Tastygate

A Malaysian restaurant with a very basic set up, food are nice, good service. The only drawback is the cleanliness of the place.

Living in the west has an abundance of takeaways and fast food so its nice to have some decent restaurants as well. This Malaysian restaurant is old school with no flash interior but decent large pretty authentic dishes. The noodle dishes are all good. Be careful with the curry laksa because it was quite spicy even for a regular spice lover. The best nights are Friday and Saturday. Do not over order because mains are pretty large but tasty. This has become my regular fix for Malaysian unless I can be bothered driving all the way to the city.
