My husband and I were absolutely gobsmacked yesterday when the BoxHill store closed the doors in our faces without a word of acknowledgement or apology. Admittedly we got there at about 5pm & had no idea what time exactly they were closing but decided to try it as there were a few cars in their carpark & there were quite a few people inside the shop (note this is their own carpark and people who park there are definitely customers. However, we walking towards their opened front door & were within about 3metres of it when they quickly slid their front door closed in our faces without so much as a word of "hello, sorry we are closed". And what added insult to injury, we've been regular shoppers here from the day they opened more that 10 yrs ago, so it wasn't even that they wouldn't know us from sight as we shop there on average at least once a week!
The people running this store offer a great service to the local community opening well past normal shopping hours and offering a great variety of asian foods at very affordable prices.
No they don't follow you around the store and hold your hand but they aren't a kindergarten.
