Tavernetta Function Centre

A disappointing experience was had at a recent event in Dec 2018. The food taste/presentation was well below the standard expected of a function venue. The pasta entre (ravioli) was cold and lacked any real taste. I tried both of the mains - Fillet steak and the Salmon. The steak tasted like it had been reheated and had a 'game' flavour to it. The Salmon was overcooked and the potato mash side tasted horrible. You could tell something wasn't right, when over half of the 70+ guests left their meals on their plates. This was very disappointing. There seemed to be a lack of staff, as any guests made repeated attempts to get a drink at the bar, which was left unmanned. I would truly recommend that you DO NOT waste your time and money at this venue, as you will be very disappointed with the standard of food and lack of service.

Pros: Most of the staff were friendly and the chef is excellent and friendly.
Cons: The Owner was rude/arrogant and needs to take a customer service course, the place was dirty and It was freezing cold All night.
