This is an interesting fusion type restaurant serving some really interesting and delicious food. It's pricier than I had expected and has a good wine list that is hard to resist. Try the friend cauliflower, it's fabulous. There are appetisers (which are quite small) but cheaper as well as entrees. My salmon was cooked to perfection. Staff is very accommodating for dietary requests. The atmosphere is alive and buzzing and the food is great. The Japanese flavours and details make this place unique.
Requested a vegan diet and they delivered brilliantly....The entree, main right through to the dessert was magic, beautifully presented and very, very nice. Highly recommended for that special occasion. The wine list is wonderful, along with the service, staff and wonderful chefs....

Men and women, manifestly endowed, disappear inside the avant-garde Federation Square. Strutting on Jimmy Choo or Hugo Boss, they weave their way through the ground floor bar, up rubber-studded stairs (past an ATM) into the award-winning restaurant.

Taxi is a great for an express lunch - terrific sushi, fantastic service, all seamless. The decor in places looks like it needs a little refresh (this place is still going strong after 10 years) and the beer barrels that I had to climb over on the stairs didn't make me feel like this is a quality restaurant... but they redeemed themselves with great food and service.
