Tay Do Restaurant provides the best Chinese and Cantonese seafood cuisine in Fairfield, Sydney. We offer the best traditional Cantonese seafood cuisine in Fairfield, Sydney.
Cantonese cuisine comes from Guangdong province and is one of the Eight Culinary Traditions of Chinese cuisine. Cantonese chefs are highly sought after throughout China. When Westerners speak of Chinese food, they usually refer to Cantonese cuisine.
Our master chef and Owner, Michael Tran, learned his Cantonese cuisine from several Executive Chefs who have worked for 5-star hotels in Hong Kong. He also worked for 30 years in many first-class Cantonese Seafood Restaurants in Melbourne before moving to Sydney.
With his superb Cantonese cooking skills, the flavors of his finished dishes are well balanced and not greasy. Apart from that, he uses spices in modest amounts to avoid overwhelming the flavors of the primary ingredients and hence these ingredients are at the peak of their freshness and quality. ...read more

Chinese/Vietnamese style family dinner, this place serves up fresh seafood with flavours of Chinese and Vietnamese.
Sharing dinner style where you can order 5 dishe for 6 people and still be full. Braised dishes in clay pots are recommended along with their seafood.
Love the stewed duck noodles with soup! The duck just falls off the bone and the soup tastes amazing! I had tried the dry version which is still good, the soup is what does it for me. They also have banquet menus for 4 people and up which is affordable and you get a variety of dishes. The staff are friendly. Best to call in and book for dinner between friday-sunday and it does tend to get busy on weeknights.
