These guys really are fantastic. I was denied entry to a club opposite because of my open toed shoes on the weekend. The staff at taylors square newsagency were fantastic- I asked if they knew anywhere I could buy shoes....they took me straight to the fold up ballet flats, offered me a seat so I could pop them on and even looked after my shoes for me while I went off to boogie. They were so friendly and lovely it really made our night. Thank you!
Even though everything seems a bit dusty and old, this newsagent has the best magazine stock in Sydney and its open 24/7. I've been going for many years, even after I've moved out of the area, the staff is efficient and friendly. But probably needs extra staff in the shop because its always very busy and can see why some customers get upset.
16\/1\/14, asked counter staff for a magazine called Maxim which I did not know about as I was purchasing it for someone else. They displayed impatience, irritability, poor tone and treated me as being a nuisance for not knowing what the magazine was about. Berated me (twice) for not knowing , they had not heard ... of it, displayed impatience whilst trying to find out, had a whinge about being the only person on duty though I was the only customer in the place. I eventually told them I apologise as clearly by your attitude I have obviously caused you a major inconvenience, and I then calmly walked out.
Best newsagent in the area. They have the largest range of fashion, design, mens, living, architecture and special interest magazines that I have ever seen. There is literally something here for everyone.
Also they stock a range of printer inks which is always handy when you cant get to an Officeworks.
So glad this newsagent is in my neighbourhood.
Reviewing a newsagent seems a weird thing to do but, being an avid magazine reader, I can't help but let people know this newsagent has the biggest range of magazines I've ever seen and stocks many magazines you'd probably only find at the upmarket bookstores but minus the upmarket prices.
