This place is conveniently located in Flinders Lane in the city. It is a quiet and friendly resturant specialising in pizza and italian pasta. I ordered their special pizza and was made using the finest and freshest ingrediants. It tastes amazing! Their lenguine pasta lacked taste but nothing salt and chilly couldnt fix. Overall an awesome experience! Their staff and friendly and nice and very polite. WIll definately come back in the future.
Great place to go after work. Service is prompt but staff is sometimes unfriendly. A good combination of Italian and Australian food, setting and ambience. The pizza menu is not really special but some good ones would be porco carne (Pork and veal meatball), della mare (Prawns) and salmone (Smoked salmon). For desserts, I find the mini banana pizza with custard interesting. Well-priced food and drinks. Quite like it!
Tazio has recently got an internal makeover. They offer seating up stairs, downstairs and have an outdoor area. Great place for a quick drink on a Friday night after work whilst being able to order pizza.
In terms of pricing, it's a tad more expensive compared to other places around the area. There was nothing special about the taste. Staff was friendly and catered for us when we didn't book for an early dinner. The staff sat us down on a small table near the kitchen which made our meal less enjoyable with the amount of foot traffic going past. It was great that when the table next to us finished their meal and she offered to migrate us to that more comfortable table.
Fined here on a Friday night after work drinks around 9. Place was not packed and was able to get a table but any earlier around 6-7 would be best to book to avoid waiting.
They have an outdoor area for people who want to have a casual drink and food on the side. Staff was friendly and was greeted straight away. Looked like most of the staff are back packers which did not jeopardise their service. We ordered two stakes and a side of sautéed spinach. Value and quality of taste wise, is disappointing. All sides are $10 and our stakes were $35 each. Which seemed a bit over price for the quality of food offered.
