Ted's Cameras Highpoint

I like going to teds, I've purchased many things from teds, but recently I had a bad experience. I was interested in buying a camera strap so the female sales rep was serving me and she was very knowledgeable. I asked her if I could open up one of the boxes to look at the product inside and she said that's fine. While I was looking at the item, she went to serve another customer. Then one the male sales rep came over to me and was very rude to me because I had opened the box to look at the product, not knowing that I had already asked for permission. Disgusted with his behaviour, I left the store without making a purchase. Will only go back to the store if I don't see him working.

This is the only Ted's Cameras within the Western Suburbs and they have hardly any stock. I went here to purchase a compact DSLR camera for my holiday. The one I wanted they had in stock but only the body and not the lens that goes with it. The salesperson then showed me a universal lens connector that you can connect any lens on but with that was adding unnecessary costs and bulk to the COMPACT camera I wanted. They then stated that they had stock in their city store (the customers they were serving before me got told the same thing - no stock here but there is stock at their city store), I already drove 40 mins to get to this store and I didn't want to drive another 20-30 mins plus the hassle of parking in the city for an item they should had in stock at their Highpoint store. They have more choices of cameras than the major department stores but sadly they don't have any of it in stock.

I bought my first SLR here. A young sales man by the name of Wolf served him. He was very professional, gave me a good price and very knowledgeable with cameras. Since then, I've been back a few times to purchase other accessories for my camera. When they have sales here, they're good sales. They don't stock everything in this store but most things can be ordered.

If you're after a new digital camera, Ted's Camera Store is definitely the first place you should go. The staff is incredibly friendly and very knowledgable. They will be able to answer any questions you may have, and will be able to help you find the perfect camera.
