13 months ago, I changed from a mobile broadband plan, to a mobile phone plan with data included. I did this at the Telstra store in Randwick, I was assured, by staff there, that my old mobile broadband plan would be cancelled, as I was now on a new plan. For the last 13 months, Telstra has continued to charge me for both plans, they have admitted fault and agreed to make a refund, but they will not refund the full amount. They also will not give me an explanation as to why I am being ripped of for the remaining balance.
I recommend that you do not trust the staff at the Telstra Store in Randwick and that you do not setup a direct debit with Telstra, this just allows them to charge you for services that were meant to be canceled and they will not refund what they owe you.
