I recently had a ring designed by Temelli Jewellery on Collins St. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted or any knowledge of diamonds. After helping me find the diamond I was after, and a crash course in grading they encouraged me to see if I could find a similar diamond with the same grading for the same price - I couldn't. They helped me design & redesign. Were always prompt replying to emails and very helpful. I now have an absolutely stunning ring which I am 100% happy with and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Everything was alright until I took the watch home and decided to look at it. I had been sold a display which did not look like a brand new item. To validate my concern I showed the watch to 4 people including one independent jeweller and one sales worker at a seperate jewellery shop. They all agrees the item looked as though it had been a display and therefore the leather was scratched. I should have checked it more carefully but it was a gift so I didn't think to try it on or closely examine. Upon taking it back the manager refused to acknowledge the defects claiming that it was a normal mark in the leather. Which is clearly wasn't it was a horizontal line scratch in the leather caused by the buckle being done and undone.manager said they don't do refunds. Their receipt says they will do refund if the item is faulty. But be careful because their definition of faulty is different to yours. Hello AMC1990 - is this in regards to the Daniel Wellington Watch purchased from our Knox Boutique? We do remember you as a client, we did also provide you with 3 other Daniel Wellington watch bands to choose from as you went home and decided you were not entirely happy with the one on the watch. As mentioned for the model purchased, the brown leather watch band has a textured finish. Nonetheless you choose a band you were happy with, we certainly did clean the watch with a cloth and provided you a cleaning cloth for the watch. It's interesting that you make it look as though you were so helpful, when really you offered me 3 bands, none of which looked similar to the one on the original watch. Also interesting how you fail to mention that I corrected you several times when you use the phrase " textured finish" . There's a difference between textured finish and preworn damaged item. Unfortunately you can't sell displays and pass them on as "textured finishes". The marks were not consistent with the texture you describe. And for the record, you keep saying i was happy with the band that I picked. No i wasn't, you didn't give me any options. I wanted a refund bit you refused. And yes you cleaned the watch after I brought it back and complained about the oily fingerprints, congratulations. Too bad you couldn't see that was necessary before I requested that basic service. Im sorry that you are only apologising for the feedback i left and not for the manner in which the transaction was handled. Goodbye!
My favourite jeweller!! I love the stock they have on display, but I've also had a ring made by their team and it's truly stunning. Their work is beautiful and their service is second to none. I've had bad and good experiences elsewhere, and now I'll never shop anywhere else for quality jewellery.
