At one stage this place used to be a pub, but it looks as if it has been completely renovated and has now been transformed into one of those hipster cafes. Well, not quite, I would rather call it one of those classy cafes which is geared towards breakfast and brunch. I ended up grabbing the French toast, which quite surprised me because it turned to be something that I would expect to come from pancakes than anything else. It was pretty calorie adding as well. The coffee wasn't bad either, and it was quite clear that this was a popular place, due to the huge crowds that had descended upon the cafe this morning. Not bad though.
I am most unimpressed. My wife rang to make a booking for five only to be told they do not take bookings. Yet when we arrived - and the venue was jam packed - there were two empty tables but ''sorry, they're booked'. Then after waiting we get given the coldest table without any heating or cover in the outside corner - NOT impressed.
Ten Ate One beautiful large cafe that serves equally as beautiful food. I had a make your own breakfast with eggs, goats curd and avocado, my partner had the Nutella French toast and we were so happy with our breakfasts! They were absolutely delicious. I had a chai with honey and once again was very happy!.
