The breakfast buffet selection here is excellent - I like how they cook your eggs and also spinach to your liking. The yoghurt condiments and fruit selection is very extensive and always very fresh. We came here for dinner on the first evening of our stay and although the buffet looked tempting, we weren't in the mood for the buffet dinner so opted for a la carte. We weren't particularly imprsessed with the menu items and even more so when the food came out. Maybe best to stick to the buffets here as this is what they do best. The ambience here during the day and the night is fantastic. Beautiful views of the pool and lots of sunlight.
The Sheraton Mirage is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The seafood buffet was great and good value even though I've never much cared for buffets. Everything is impeccably presented and sparkling clean and staff really make you feel welcome. The desserts were wicked, so leave some room!
Sheraton Mirage had a special on in August where you paid just $45 for their seafood buffet for lunch M-F. I had never eaten there before, so was really looking forward to the experience. I took my mum and the two of us had a lovely table by the window overlooking the poolside. We were very well looked after by the wait staff and were also shown promptly to our table. The buffet here is superb. There is so much food, that even when it is busy like it was when we went there was never any food that ran out and if there was it was quickly replenished by the chefs from the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, any request was answered immediately. The food was very fresh, tasty and the variety left you wondering how on earth can you fit all this in. Usually only visit when staying in house, but great buffet breakfasts here. The evening feasts are great and although there's fabulous eating options all over Main Beach, it's not bad in house dining. Lovely views over the inside ponds, gardens and pool areas and viewing easy through wall to wall glass. Attentive staff ready to refill too.
