RUINED WEDDING-Flowers were not delivered. Tesselaar did not answer their phone. Many desperate texts later, received a reply at 6.30pm Friday evening. They didn't know where the flowers were, left us a number of another transport company and for us to chase.Their much advertised, air conditioned trucks with the freshest flowers delivered in water are misleading and no mention of third party transport company who also did not answer their phone, FB inquieries until we gave after 15 hours of phone calls. We are in a country town in severe drought. We were forced to buy old flowers from Woolworths, knocked on people's doors to cut flowers from scarce gardens. They created incredible undue stress on us, our staff, the venue and most importantly the final result that we could not deliver as promised to the couple. We had Tesselaar provide us with bulk wholesale flowers for our wedding and they were AWESOME. We got exactly what we wanted, we saved hundreds of dollars, and the wonderful sales assistant was super friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Recieved a short-one-worded email in response to my request for a quote along the lines of 'We are wholesale to florist businesses only'..No sorry or suggestions or any help to steer me in the right direction.. Or even a 'thanks for your enquiry' Very unprofessional response considering I was willing to spend thousands on supply for my wedding. If I in fact was a business and received a response that short and unwelcoming, I most definitely would have gone elsewhere.
Hi Mel, I am sorry to hear this and I apologise on behalf of the company. Although it is no excuse for rudeness, this week is the busiest of the year for all in the flower game due to Mother's Day so perhaps the person who replied was under the pump.
