T'Gallant Winemakers

Overly busy and not very enjoyable on a cooler day as the venue feels like a wind tunnel. Also not the place to go to if you hate waiting. It is the disney land of wineries and each station including food has a line of at least 3o mintues. My partner and I lasted 5 minutes and moved on from this venue due to it being overcrowded and not relaxing.

We showed up at 1pm and joined the long queue for a table in what was a packed venue.

After a 45 minute wait over the busy Easter weekend we were shown our table, given our menus and told to go up and order when we were ready.

Alas the next queue for drinks and food combined was another 30 minute wait and needless to say if we were told we had to wait in two separate queues for 1.5 hours just to order, we would have gone elsewhere.

The food was good, the duo singing excellent, the staff did the best they could but Easter weekend isn't the time to cut back on staff to save wages and then only have one till operating (so I was informed by a staff member).

That's what wait staff are for- to wait on customers, not just clear tables !

I won't be going back again during any busy holiday period ...pity !

On a beautiful sunny Sunday, sitting out overlooking the vineyards, enjoying pizza and a glass of wine...the perfect day came true. If only we could have fit in dessert too!
