Thai Emerald Restaurant

We have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and have been delighted wit the food and the service. Unfortunately tonight we left with very disappointed. We arrived and asked for a table for two. We were told which table to go to and after approximately 20mins decided that we needed to go back to the counter and request a menu & some water. it took another 10 mins before someone came to take our order. We were served our entree reasonably quickly but waited another 40mins for one main to arrive. (We ordered one each). We were waiting for the second main to arrive but gave up and started on the one that had been delivered. We got tired of waiting again and assumed the disappointing service was to continue and ate the remainder of the ne & only main that had been delivered. For a little suburban Thai restaurant this one is pretty darn good - It is only an average looking restaurant inside - usual asian decoration - but the food is really good. The Pad Thai is really delicious and the prices are good

Been to this restaurant MANY times, it's definitely a favorite. Service is impeccable, food was absolutely divine. Staff are all extremely friendly. I've been to many restaurants in the local area and none compare with the kind of quality you'll get at the Thai Emerald. A must visit for locals and visitors alike.

this has got to be one of the best thai restaurants around in the bayside area, the menu has many items to choose from and the food is of great quality be it take away or dine in and you can choose if you want it mild or medium or hot, the prices are reasonable and it is one of the best Thai restaurants in Australia no doubt, the inside is a bit small so make sure to book early on a weekend
