Thai Herbs

I have never ever been here at dinner time and found more than two empty tables. The place is always a buzz as the food is simply so good. We just returned from our latest visit and loved it to pieces.

A few weeks ago I went with a small group to Thai herbs on a week night. It wasn't busy but the service was very slow. I had eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the local area and was looking forward to trying this one. Wouldn't bother to go back. I ordered the same stir fry I always have when eating Thai and on this occasion it was pretty ordinary. It just didn't have the authentic taste that I usually enjoy in other Thai restaurants. The serving was small and I thought by comparison to other local places it was expensive. Another person in our group ordered the Pad Thai and said it was awful and did not finish it. It really looked like a packet continental pasta and sauce. It was a cold night and as we were seated right inside the front door, every time customers came in we froze due to the cold draft. Try somewhere else around the area there are lots of better choices for Thai food.

I have to be absolutely honest here - this is one of my wife';s favourites. She simply loves their food and we eat it on average once every two weeks. Service is a little slow but they are very frindly and the meals disappear very quickly. I wonder why that is?
