Terrible experience at this restaurant last night. Entrees served on time but only one of four main courses delivered. When the second of four meals arrived the first was long cold and we had to request it be removed and reheated. Two remaining orders still had not appeared after subsequent 45 minute wait. The wait staff were present but did not appear all that aware of what to do or what was needed. There was no effort made to offer any reduction on cost, we were charged for the food delivered to the table and for corkage on one bottle of wine despite the fact that two at our table left the restaurant without eating. A really bad experience.
Worst dining experience I have ever had!!!. Party of eight, four adults plus four children dropped by to ask if they could fit us in one busy night.. They said sure, then proceeded to make up a table for us outside at the edge of the restaurant , complete with water dripping off a canvas awning onto the table, making it impossible to sit at one end. Then came the attack of the Christmas beetles... At least 30 little beetles at our feet, two of which flew and landed on my daughters head and freaked her out. Had to ask a waitstaff to sweep them away and requested to be moved inside, but they said they had no space which was fair enough. However the waitstaff did not come back to re sweep the beetles away and as a result they ended up on our clothes, hair, legs everywhere. I can understand that the beetles and sitting outside would be quite annoying but honestly what did you think turning up to a restaurant without a booking with a large group?? From what I see, the staff did what they could to get you in. Once you sat down at your table and we're told that there was nothing available inside, you had the choice to leave. If you stay then you accept where you are seated. In regards to the beetles, you are outside. I don't feel the staff should be at your table all night swatting bugs and neglecting the rest of the customers. Sorry if a little harsh but you didn't have to dine there. I have only had good experiences there and can't fault the staff. You should probably rethink what you wrote as there wasn't really anything wrong and your comments can really harm a business reputation.
