An excellent Thai restaurant which was full on a Saturday night, so it was a little noisy and although the service was pretty good, I think they could have done with more staff on hand. The restaurant is nicely and subtly decorated and prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of food. We tried the beef country curry which was hot but delicious, although there was a misunderstanding that this dish was going to be chunks of beef when in fact it was slices of beef, but nonetheless, it was excellent. We also had the stir fried chicken with cashews, chilli paste & vegetables and this was exactly how I expect this dish to be served - it was a good serving size, the flavours were perfect, and there was the ideal ratio of chicken, vegetables and cashews. I'd eat again at Thai Puka as I want to try the Mussaman curry which I saw at someone else's table and it looked really good.
