You can always get a table here no matter how busy it gets. There's also plenty of staff so that you're never waiting long for service! The decor is really cool and it helps to create an intimate atmosphere. It's also kept very clean... a quality that somehow seems to escape many restaurants in this day and age!
The food is good for a feed. Very tasty but keep in mind that it is a chain so there aren't any out-there / new wonderful things to try... it's standard Thai (although the Panang curry is very good).
BYO is a great idea and if you live in the area, it's a great spot to walk to, have a few wines and walk home.
I often stop in to pick-up take away on the way home and it's always nice when they throw in a free soft-drink or serve of spring rolls!
Rose Bay's Old South Head Road is a bit of a no man's land. Not much there and what is there seems to close very early ( ie the bottle shop closes at 8pm - yes it's true!).
The Thai Riffic here ( there are a few of them dotted around the city) has been here awhile now and its always always great! The decor is refreshingly different for a thai restaurant too. Vert modern and funky and there's lots of room. Its BYO so make sure you bring bottle, though one night having forgotten wine, the manager GAVE us a bottle. WOW!
The food here is great quality for the price. Its not expensive. The dry fish dish is just gorgeous! You must have it if you come here.
The service is always fast and efficient and the crowd is usually made up of all locals. You can usually always get a table even on busy nights. Highly recommended.
