Brunswick East’s ‘Thaila Thai’ has proved to be a local favourite due to their quick and friendly service, competitive prices and most importantly of all their delicious range of Thai foods. For as little as ten dollars mains are available that will satisfy the hungriest (and most price savvy) of diners, without skimping on taste.
Be sure to try the satay chicken, served in a mouth wateringly rich peanut sauce or (if you’re feeling a little more adventurous) a spicy red or green curry. Bring a bottle to enjoy with your meal, nobody will be leaving hungry or disappointed.

Thaila Thai is a Brunswick institution, and for good reason. The prices are amazing, and food is very good. Much of the food has the same flavour (from the well seasoned woks), but that is part of the Thaila Thai charm. The upstairs dining area has a nicer atmosphere, but the downstairs tables are perfect for a quick meal. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for Thaila Thai, but it is a great spot for locals.
The best Thai restaurant in Melbourne. After trying this place, no other Thai restaurant measures up. The food is always fresh, clean and delicious! I love that the kitchen is open and not hidden behind doors. The smiling chef is lovely and if you're lucky enough, he'll come past to see how your meal was! Forget fine dining, the food here speaks for itself and needs no decor to distract from that!
