This was a great little Thai joint as it was quick service and the meal portions were really generous! They have a lunch menu which is a little more than that on King Street in Newtown but the potions are large and the menu options are much more diverse which was great! You can choose from so many rice, noodles and soup dishes! I made a request for extra curry sauce to my Penang curry because I like to drown my rice in it and they were more than happy to do it without any issues. We chose to sit outdoors by Addison road which is relaxing when you have the sun on you and the cars zooming past! The waiter was really lovely when he brought out the individual dishes! We left full and well looked after!
The food is okay for the price. I ordered the chicken noodle stir fry and got more than I had expected, having to spit out 5 staples mingled with the rice noodle. I rang them and received an apology. That is all very well, but the outcome would have been far more serious. The cook should be more vigilant and taken more care. So what next?....finger nails? I won't find out because I have given them the flick.
